The role you’ll contribute:

The Medical Assistant provides appropriate care to patients within the scope of Florida Statutes Title XXXII: Regulations of Professionals and Occupations, Chapter 458. Medical Assistants assist in various aspects of medical practice under the supervision of a physician. Responsibilities may include patient care management, administrative, and clinical procedures. All practice activities will adhere to ethical and professional standards.

• Review appointment bookings in advance and ensure patients receive appointment reminders.
• Verify and validate insurance prior to the appointment date.
• Complete check-in processes, securing copays and balance amounts.
• Verify that consent forms are completed and up to date.
