Zusammenfassung

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) at MultiCare Health System supports physicians and APPs in a busy clinic. You will collect patient information, take vital signs, prepare for exams, and assist with procedures under supervision.

A Washington MA-C credential and current BLS are required, with at least one year of healthcare experience preferred. This is a 1.0 FTE, day-shift role with a strong emphasis on teamwork and patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Washington State MA-C certification is required.
• Minimum of one year healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Aufgaben

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff.
• Interviewing patients.
• Obtaining vital signs.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State regulations and documented competency.
• Relaying instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Sending and receiving of patient medical records.
• Facilitating patient referrals.
• Preparing forms for patients.
