Job summary

MultiCare Health System is urgently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) in Washington. You will work in a Physician/APP office setting under supervision, performing safe clinical skills and interacting with physicians, nurses and patients.

Requirements include WA MA-C certification, at least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, and current BLS. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 24-month commitment for full-time daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• MA-C certification required in WA.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office staff.
• Interview patients.
• Obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications per WA DOH regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families.
• Send/receive patient records and facilitate referrals.
• Prepare forms for patients.
