Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) at MultiCare Health System plays a vital role in the Physician/APP office, supporting safe clinical tasks under supervision and coordinating care with physicians, nurses, and front office staff.

The position is 0.75 FTE, with shifts 07:00–17:30 and a schedule of 3 days per week. A minimum of one year of healthcare experience and WA MA-C certification plus BLS are required, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus applies with a 24-month commitment.

Qualifications

• MA-C certification is required for Washington state.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications per WA DOH regulations and competency.
