Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant. Schedule: Rotating 2 days/week, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, totaling 16 hours weekly. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

The CMA will perform patient care and administrative tasks under supervision, with potential for growth within a Magnet-designated hospital. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT-B certification on day one; phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma OR equivalency required.
• Must have CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT-B certification on first day of employment.
• Less than 1 year of related experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks under supervision as delegated by the physician, NP/PA, RN or LPN.
• Support front/back office functions and ensure efficient patient flow.
