Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Overview

Sentara RMH Medical Center is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Harrisonburg, VA! Up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified Candidates.

The CERTIFIED Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience Less than a year of related experience required; Phlebotomy experience highly preferred.

Education

High School Diploma OR equivalency required.

Certification

Must have one of the following on the first day of employment: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified EMT (EMT-B) BLS within 90 days of hire date.
