Position Summary:

Perform front and back office clerical duties including collecting patient data, obtaining medical history, assisting with treatment procedures, preparing instruments, maintaining a sanitary work area, scheduling appointments, and verifying medical coverage. Patient care may include all age groups.

Responsibilities include:

• Follow patient safety policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Proactively improve patient safety.
• Perform cashiering duties and manage cash register.
• Identify and report environmental risks to patient safety.
• Report safety concerns and medical errors promptly.
• Encourage patient participation in their care.
• Assist in patient preparation, perform routine and invasive treatments, record vital signs, and report changes.
• Enter and verify data, schedule appointments, and manage communication.
• Maintain a sanitary environment and stock supplies.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Administer medications following training and document findings.

Qualifications:

Education: High School or GED, program graduate, or equivalent experience.

Experience: No minimum required; bilingual skills and related experience preferred.

Credentials: CPR/BLS certification within 30 days; CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification.

Physical Conditions: Heavy exertion possible, with safety precautions for hazardous materials and potential shift rotations.
