Assist healthcare professionals with the delivery of patient care services.
Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program; CPR Certification; one year experience in an ambulatory/primary care clinic; equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Current BLS certification.
Meet and greet patients and escort them to the exam rooms; take and record vital signs; receive the patient’s chief complaint; perform venipuncture for ordered lab work; perform CLIA waived clinical lab testing as ordered by the provider; administer medications/injections as ordered; document pertinent findings in the patient record; provide accurate, concise documentation in the patient record; keep rooms clean and stocked with supplies; other functions as assigned.

Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
