Catholic Health Initiatives CHI Health Clinic seeks a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant for our Midland's OB Clinic near Hwy 370 & 84th St. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care, perform vital signs, assist clinicians, and support patient flow.

We value attention to detail, teamwork, and patient-centered care. The role includes preparing specimens, providing medications or vaccines, and other duties within scope.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ABHES or CAAHEP accredited MA program.
• Current CMA/RMA/NCMA certification or recognition.
• Completion of Medication Aide 40-hour course.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Greets and prepares patients, records vital signs and medications.
• Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides medications and vaccines to patients.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) working at our Midland's OB Clinic off of Hwy 370 & 84th St, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care and make critical assessments! You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

To thrive in this vital role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others.

Expectations:

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows.
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reasons for visit.
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients.
• Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.

We are offering a Sign-on Bonus and Education Assistance to new hires that meet eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
• Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA)
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Pay Range

$18.96 - $26.78 /hour
