Shift: Full Time, 40 hours

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm; Tuesday 9:30am - 6:30pm; One Saturday per month 7:00am - 1:00pm

Location: North Riverside, IL

The role you’ll contribute:

Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

Qualifications

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assists with treatments ordered by physicians, under supervision. Performs select clinical duties.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examinations.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing.
• Performs basic materials management functions, including ordering and stocking supplies. Maintains a clean and orderly environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire or transfer date.
• Medical Assistant credential from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or equivalent (AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA) obtained prior to hire or transfer date.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
