USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our Queens/Brooklyn clinics. This role focuses on balancing patient needs with efficient workflow and providing assistance to physicians in all procedural phases to ensure an outstanding service experience.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and accurate EMR documentation. This full-time position offers paid training and a competitive hourly wage of $20–$25, with bilingual

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience with vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections.
• MA training program completion or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Strong patient-facing or customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Document vital signs, histories, and clinical info in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection within training scope.
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details

• Schedule: Sunday through Friday full-time hours.
• Location: Float position supporting our clinics, at Queens / Brooklyn
• Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
• OBL/Cathlab experience, Preferred
• Paid Training (2-4 weeks)
• Compensation: $20-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1-2 years of hands‑on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient‑care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient‑facing or customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment, required.
