Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow, supporting physicians before, during, and after procedures while ensuring an excellent service experience.

The role requires bilingual Spanish/English communication, with paid training and a float position across Queens/Brooklyn clinics. High school diploma and medical assisting training are required, CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Sunday through Friday full-time hours.


• Location: Float position supporting our clinics, at Queens / Brooklyn


• Language Requirement: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.


• OBL/Cathlab experience, Preferred


• Paid Training (2-4 weeks)


• Compensation: $20-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.


• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.


• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.


• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.


• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
