Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Cardiology Brunswick team. You’ll prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians, and record vitals while helping maintain clean and prepared treatment rooms.

The role emphasizes accurate charting and efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced environment. Minimum requirements include BLS Provider certification and Medical Assistant credentials, with a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant licensure considered in lieu of

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
