Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to perform Vital Signs, explain procedures to patients, and assist with coding. You will keep the clinic clean, document in the EHR, and educate patients on treatment plans.

You may float between Knoxville, Morristown, and Athens with advance scheduling. Experience in a clinical setting and familiarity with medical billing coding are preferred; X-ray certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience preferred (6 months+).
• Familiarity with medical billing coding practices is a plus.
• Compassionate patient care with empathy and understanding.
• X-ray certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
