Ideal candidates are High school graduates with 0-3 years experience, current BLS, and strong communication. The position is fully onsite with a pay range of $20.00-$23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from exam rooms, physician offices, and treatment rooms as needed.
• Record patient data prior to each physician visit, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
• Obtain all necessary patient records as required by the physician prior to treatment or procedures.
• Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures upon request.
• Maintain all exam and treatment room disinfection protocols.
• Respond to patients calls as needed.
• Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and handling medical paperwork (e.g., FMLA, PFL).
• Alert nurse or physician of abnormal vitals or any important information provided by the patient.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Albany, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
