Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship.
• Certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NAHP (NRCMA), AMCA, or ARMA.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in providing medical care across various patient ages, following practice policies and standards.
• Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare regulations.
• Support the achievement of meaningful use measures.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Perform initial patient screening and ongoing assessments following protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of related experience or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with externship
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
• Certification from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, NHA, NAHP (NRCMA), AMCA, or ARMA

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year healthcare experience with communication skills across staff levels
