Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Henderson, NV seeks a Certified Med Tech (NV) for a full-time Night shift (Thu-Sun, 10:00pm-6:00am). You will administer and document medications, observe residents, and support care plans under the Wellness Director. Competitive pay $18.00-$19.00/hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires state-approved Medication Administration training and First Aid certification
• QMAP credential as required by state regulations
• Minimum high school diploma; healthcare experience preferred; senior living experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer, pour, pass, and document medications per physician orders and five rights
• Order meds to ensure availability; notify Wellness Director if delays
• Document medications administered immediately after administration
• Observe and report adverse reactions to meds
• Take and record vital signs prior to meds as directed
• Report medication errors immediately
• Assist in care planning with other disciplines; ensure privacy and dignity of residents
• Assist with daily activities and resident comfort and safety

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience preferred

Medication Administration training and First Aid certification; NV-required QMAP
