Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Med Tech to provide medication administration and resident care in a supportive, community-centered setting. Reports to the Director of Health & Wellness; position is hourly, non-exempt, with options for full-time, part-time, and per diem roles.

Requires active NJ CNA and/or HHA license, strong communication, and ability to work weekends/holidays. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with HIPAA, and compassionate care for seniors in our NJ community.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medication Technician training and competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration per state regulations.
• Strong communication skills and HIPAA policy adherence.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' condition to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide resident care to meet needs as per care plan.
• Maintain medical records and documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Support residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity in service delivery.
