Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist with medication administration and resident care in our Watchung, NJ community. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to ensure accuracy, privacy, and dignity.

Candidates must hold a NJ Medication Aid Certification and a NJ CNA or HHA Certification, with at least six months of senior-care experience. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Must have a current NJ Medication Aid Certification and a NJ CNA or HHA Certification.
• Minimum of six months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with prescribed medication to residents under the supervision of the RN; maintain related medical records.
• Complete required annual medication training, per state requirements.
• Provide resident care to meet needs according to the care plan.
• Maintain medical records and documentation accurate and compliant with regulations.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity in delivering services to residents.
• Attend all in-service trainings as scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and community policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
