Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Med Tech in Bennetts Mills, NJ to provide quality medication administration and resident care under the supervision of the RN/LPN. This full-time, non-exempt hourly position reports to the Director of Health & Wellness and requires adherence to care plans and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, ongoing training, and maintaining residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity in service delivery. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State Regs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; six months of senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of the RN/LPN.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide resident care to meet the care plan needs.
• Maintain medical records and written documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents in the delivery of services.
