Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Medication Technician to provide quality care to residents in our NJ community. You will assist with medication administration according to care plans, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate with RNs/LPNs to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role is full-time, hourly, and requires compassionate care, strong communication, and a commitment to resident dignity and privacy. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Medication Technician training and periodic competency testing.
• Ability to perform medication administration in accordance with State regs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Observes and reports changes in residents' condition to supervisor.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist with medication administration per care plan and records.
• Complete required annual medication training.
• Provide resident care per care plan.
• Maintain medical records ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity during service delivery.
