Meridian Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in Oregon, OH to care for residents by administering medications in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifying candidates must complete an Ohio Board of Nursing approved program, pass state testing, maintain registration, and have at least one year of medication administration experience with the elderly; strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must complete Meridian training in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year experience with medications and the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering medications to residents following regulatory guidelines.
• Keep proper care records and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Interact professionally with residents, families, staff and vendors.
