Job summary

Lee Health is seeking a Certified Instrument Technician II for its Sterile Processing team in Fort Myers, FL. Youll play a key role in delivering precise instrumentation to support safe surgeries and collaborate with surgical teams to uphold high quality outcomes.

This full-time role offers day, evening, and night shifts. Minimum 6 months Sterile Processing experience and CRCST/CBSPD certification are required, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months Sterile Processing experience.
• Certifications: HSPA CRCST or CBSPD Certification.
• English: Read, write, and speak English for work communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain competency across core Sterile Processing functions: decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, case pick.
• Ensure instrumentation is processed accurately, safely, and on time to support surgical services.
• Follow Lee Health policies and industry standards including AAMI, APIC, and AORN.
• Participate in team huddles and contribute ideas for quality initiatives.
• Support training and precepting of team members as needed.
• Help maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Under the direction of the Sterile Processing leadership team, you will:\<\/p> \

Maintain competency across all core Sterile Processing functions:\<\/p> \
