Job summary

UF Health Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to collect, clean, disinfect, inspect, and sterilize surgical instruments and other medical equipment under the guidance of the unit charge nurse.

The role maintains code carts, chest carts, urology carts, and cleans hospital-wide equipment as needed, supporting a safe, efficient operating room environment and patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Completion of formal central service technician or surgery technologist program.
• Previous central service, surgery, or patient care work experience is desirable.
