Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a Central Sterilization Supervisor to lead the sterile processing team. This full-time role involves managing processing of instruments, ensuring compliance with health standards, and coordinating daily operations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position requires CSPT certification, 2+ years sterile processing experience, and at least 1 year of management experience, with BLS/ACLS completed within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years sterile processing experience.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience required.
• Certified CSPT and Basic Life Support to be obtained within 30 days of start date; Vocational School Graduate.

• Directs, plans, and evaluates staff and activities of Sterile Processing in compliance with health standards and facility goals.
• Coordinates day-to-day operations regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays.
• Ensures compliance with DoH, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN standards.

Shifts/Schedule: Full-Time | No Weekends

What You'll Do in the Role:

Directs, plans, organizes and evaluates staff and activities of Sterile Processing in compliance with Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, AORN Standards and facility goals and policies. Coordinates the day-to-day operations regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays.

Job Qualifications:

• MUST have a Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience
• MUST have a Minimum of 1 years of management experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certified Sterile Processing Technician Required (CSPT)
• Vocational School Graduate

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay rate range: $20.35/hr. - $28.49/hr. (Based on years of experience)
