Job summary

Arcan Capital in Milledgeville, GA is seeking a certified HVAC Technician to service our apartment communities. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair heating and cooling systems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to urgent service requests to ensure resident comfort.

Ideal candidates hold an EPA HVAC Certification with 2+ years of residential or multifamily experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• EPA HVAC Certification required with 2+ years of residential or multifamily HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with ability to work independently and with others.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in tight or elevated spaces (attics, rooftops).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; experience with maintenance software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems including A/C units, heat pumps, and furnaces, with routine preventative maintenance.
• Respond to work orders and emergencies in a timely manner, keeping accurate service records and managing tools/inventory.
• Collaborate with property teams to prioritize repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly with residents and supporting on‑call duties as needed.
