Job summary

BeMore Staffing is seeking a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician in Charleston, SC, for a temporary-to-permanent role within a residential community. You will handle a wide range of repairs and upkeep, ensuring resident satisfaction and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include electrical/plumbing work, make-ready procedures, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping, with a focus on high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months hands-on apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC experience preferred; EPA certification (Type 1/2/3/Universal) or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Own basic maintenance tools.
• Able to work autonomously or in a team; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
• Restore and maintain cabinets, doors, walls, fixtures, and exterior elements.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues; address inquiries.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Oversee unit turnover preparations to meet standards before new move-ins.
• Implement and manage annual preventative maintenance schedules.
• Perform grounds upkeep including debris removal and light landscaping.
• Assist management with special projects and ad-hoc tasks.
