Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a Care Aide to support residents in our NJ facility. The role includes helping with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with the care team to ensure safety and engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Caregiving experience: 1 year.
• Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.
