Juniper Communities is a premier senior living provider dedicated to resident wellbeing and engaging daily activities. We are seeking a certified Medication Aide with experience passing meds to join our caregiving team, offering on-demand DailyPay and competitive starting pay.

As a Medication Aide, you will assist with medication administration, monitor residents’ vital signs, and support daily living activities while communicating effectively with residents, families, and teammates.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved medication administration course.
• Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
