Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation – Onion Creek, TX is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to treat conservative and post-operative hand conditions in an outpatient clinic. An OT license and CHT are required; 1-2 years hand/splinting experience if not a CHT.

Provides education and develops therapy plans aligned with physician directions. Hours vary Mon-Fri 7a-7p; full time with competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Certified Hand Therapist certification is required.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement and modify treatment plans.
• Supervise and direct therapy services for assigned patients.
• Educate patients, families, students and staff about therapy programs and goals.
