Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Austin (Pflugerville) seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) with Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials for our outpatient setting. Hours vary, M-F, 7a-7p, full-time position.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, designing and adjusting hand therapy programs, and educating patients and families. Requires state OT licensure or eligibility and CHT certification. BLS certification required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state or eligible for licensure.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification required
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans.
• Delegate and direct therapy services across disciplines.
• Design functional treatment programs to facilitate community reintegration.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers and self; perform related duties.
