Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification is required.
• BLS (or completion within 90 days of employment) is required.

Responsibilities

• Seek a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to treat conservative and post-operative conditions in a dynamic clinic setting.
• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement and modify treatment plans per patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to enable return to community activities.
• Educate patients, families, students, coworkers and self; perform related professional duties.

Responsibilities

Seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), to treat conservative and post-operative conditions in a dynamic clinic setting. Experience in hand/splinting for 1-2 years required if not a CHT.

Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction. Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities. Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self. Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• Certified Hand Therapist certification required
• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required
