Position: Certified Hand Therapist

Location:, Willow Grove, Lansdale, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

CME/CEU Reimbursement: $1,750 annually.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Providing Excellent Patient Care: Provides patient care in accordance with established protocols and patient care guidelines.
Documentation Standard: Responsible for timely documentation, including but not limited to daily notes, weekly workers compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.
Scheduled Appointments: Responsible for assuring that patients are treated promptly in accordance with their scheduled appointments.
Plans of Care: Responsible for conveying to patients the importance of complying with established plans of care, including home exercise programs and minimizing cancellations and no show of appointments.
Referral Coordination: Consults with referring physicians as needed through documentation and as well as verbally.
Professional Conduct: Responsible for always maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct that best represents the company.
Fine/Gross Motor Skills: Coordinates participation in sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and motor activities designed to help patients or disabled persons develop or regain physical or mental functions or adjust to disabilities.
Coordination with Team Members: Consults with other members of rehabilitation team to select activity program consistent with needs and capabilities of individual and to coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
Rehabilitation to 100%: Selects constructive activities suited to individual’s physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest to upgrade individual to maximum independence, prepare individual for return to employment, assist in restoration of functions, and aid in adjustment to disability

Qualifications:

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist, or eligible to be a licensed as Occupational Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania required.
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) License required.
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Previous experience as a Certified Hand Therapist highly desired.
