Join our Team at Premier and the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center!

Position: Certified Hand Therapist

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ, and South Philadelphia (Navy Yard)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

CME/CEU Reimbursement: $1,750 annually.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  1. Providing Excellent Patient Care: Deliver care in accordance with protocols and guidelines.
  2. Documentation: Timely notes, reports, evaluations, summaries, and incident reports.
  3. Scheduled Appointments: Ensure prompt treatment per schedule.
  4. Plans of Care: Communicate importance of adherence to care plans, including home exercises.
  5. Referral Coordination: Collaborate with referring physicians through documentation and communication.
  6. Professional Conduct: Maintain high standards of professionalism.
  7. Motor Skills: Coordinate activities to develop or regain physical or mental functions.
  8. Team Coordination: Work with rehabilitation team to plan and coordinate therapy activities.
  9. Rehabilitation Goals: Select activities to maximize independence and assist in adjustment to disabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania.
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) license required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience as a Certified Hand Therapist preferred.
