JAM Industries in Southaven, MS is seeking a certified forklift operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate forklifts safely, move materials between receiving, storage, and shipping areas, and perform pre-operation inspections.

Candidates should have 1 year forklift experience and a high school diploma or GED, be detail oriented, able to read purchase orders, and communicate effectively by phone or email.

Formación

• 3–6 months manufacturing or distribution experience.
• At least 1 year forklift operation experience.
• Must read and interpret purchase orders and packing lists.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Basic Excel experience; good verbal/email communication.

Responsabilidades

• Drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between receiving, storage, service, and shipping areas.
• Organize and secure materials on pallets and storage areas.
• Perform routine pre-operation inspections.
• Manually load or unload materials from pallets or skids.
• Receive inventory and record inbound items.
• Maintain accurate counts of stock and reconcile inventory.
• Coordinate loading/unloading with managers, supervisors, and vendors.
• Count and document quantities and values of inventory.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies.
• Assist other departments as needed.
