Qualifications

• 3–6 months experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• At least 1 year experience driving a forklift and a forklift license
• Must be detailed oriented and able to read PO's, packing lists, or follow verbal instructions
• Demonstrated organizational ability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
• Basic Excel experience and comfortable communicating verbally and via email

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport materials between receiving, storage, service and shipping areas
• Organize and secure materials on pallets and in storage areas
• Perform routine pre-inspections on forklift equipment
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices
• Receive inventory and verify inbound items and returns
• Maintain accurate counts of inventory and post totals
• Coordinate with managers, supervisors, and vendors to optimize loading/unloading operations
• Document quantity, type and value of stocked materials in inventory
• Adhere to safety and quality policies and standards
• May assist other departments as needed
