JAM Industries is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to safely operate forklift equipment, transport materials, and perform pre-inspections in a warehouse setting. The role may involve loading/unloading, assisting in shipping and inventory, and collaborating with managers and vendors to ensure accurate receiving and inventory control.

The position requires 3–6 months in manufacturing or distribution, 1+ year forklift experience (license obtainable), and a High School Diploma or GED.

Formación

• 3–6 months experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• At least 1 year experience driving a forklift and the ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to accurately read purchase orders, packing lists, or follow verbal instructions.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated organizational ability and follow-through.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work harmoniously in a team as well as autonomously.
• Basic Excel experience and comfortable communicating verbally and via email.

Responsabilidades

• Move and operate forklifts to transport materials between receiving, storage, service and shipping areas.
• Organize and secure materials on pallets and storage platforms.
• Perform routine pre-inspections on equipment.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Receive inventory and ensure daily inbound/return items are accurate.
• Count items to ensure stock accuracy and condition.
• Coordinate loading/unloading operations with managers and vendors.
• Maintain records of quantity, type, and value of materials in inventory.
• Adhere to safety and quality policies and standards.
• Assist other departments as needed.
