Job summary

Empire Care Centers is seeking a Certified Food Services Manager to lead the Dietary Department of our long-term care facility. In this leadership role you will design menus, oversee food safety, and ensure meals meet regulatory guidelines.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with vendors, report to the General Manager, and support catering for events. A CDM credential and prior long-term care experience are required.

Qualifications

• CDM credential required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Design weekly menus for the community.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and address concerns promptly.
• Oversee food quality, presentation, and environmental standards.
• Manage food and supply expenses within budgetary guidelines.
• Coordinate orders with authorized vendors.
• Provide reports and recommendations to the General Manager.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
