Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a healthcare professional to support donor safety and the plasma donation process in a clinical setting.

You will evaluate donor eligibility, manage medical incidents, and collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure regulatory compliance and a positive donor experience. Ideal candidates hold active state licenses (EMT, LPN/LVN, or RN), CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state where the center operates
• Certified CPR current
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred
• Experience with plasma/blood collection a plus
• Familiarity with FDA/OSHA/CLIA/cGMP beneficial
• Able to work in a regulated environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Responsibilities

• Perform donor eligibility exams and plasmapheresis-related assessments
• Review donor medical history and lab results to determine suitability
• Educate donors about procedures, risks and consent
• Administer immunizations and monitor for adverse reactions
• Respond to donor acute reactions and manage emergency situations
• Maintain medical equipment and safety readiness
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide counseling
• Participate in safety committees and staff education on protocols
• Support plasmapheresis and blood procedures when needed
• Document medical incidents and donor charts accurately
• Promote donor retention by providing a welcoming and safe experience
