Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. seeks EMT/Paramedic or LPN/LVN professionals to support plasma donation operations in a fast-paced, clinical setting. You will assess donor eligibility, manage medical incidents, and help ensure donor safety in collaboration with the Center Medical Director.

The role requires active state licensure, CPR, and a healthcare background; prior plasma/blood collection experience is a plus. A strong focus on compliance and donor care is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed to practice in the state where the center operates.
• CPR certification current.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with plasma or blood collection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility and manage medical incidents.
• Support donor safety and health, in collaboration with medical leadership.
• Educate donors on the donation process, risks, and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor for adverse reactions; document procedures.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide appropriate treatment; escalate as needed.
• Maintain emergency equipment and be ready for any situation.
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide counseling.
• Participate in safety committees and educate staff on protocols.
• Assist with plasmapheresis and whole blood procedures when needed.
• Maintain donor charts and review medical incidents for quality control.
• Promote donor retention by ensuring a welcoming and safe experience.
