Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking healthcare professionals (EMT, LPN/LVN, or RN) for a critical role in donor safety and the plasma donation process within a regulated clinical setting.

You will evaluate donor eligibility, manage medical incidents, and support donor health under the supervision of the Center Medical Director. Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in the state where the center operates.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program (e.g., Nursing, Physician Assistant, or advanced EMT).
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in plasma or blood collection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Manage medical incidents and donor safety.
• Educate donors on donation process, risks, benefits and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor adverse reactions.
• Respond to donor reactions with appropriate treatment and escalate as needed.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment and readiness.
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide confidential counseling.
• Participate in safety committee activities and staff education.
• Assist with plasmapheresis and whole blood procedures as needed.
• Maintain donor charts and review medical incidents.
