Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking EMT/Paramedic/LPN/LVN professionals to join our plasma donation team in the United States. You will safeguard donor health, assess eligibility, and support the plasmapheresis process in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating donor suitability, managing medical incidents, educating donors, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A relevant healthcare license and CPR certification are required, with at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in the state where the center operates.
• Licenses include EMT-B, EMT-I, EMT-A, Paramedic, LPN, LVN, or RN.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in plasma or blood collection is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility for plasmapheresis and immunization programs.
• Review donor health history and lab results and consult with the Center Medical Director as needed.
• Educate donors on the donation process, risks, benefits, and informed consent.
• Administer immunizations and monitor adverse reactions, documenting procedures.
• Respond to donor reactions with appropriate treatment and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain emergency medical equipment and readiness.
• Notify donors of positive viral marker results and provide counseling.
