Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Echo Tech for the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department. The Echo Tech will perform, record, and report echocardiography procedures with three channel electrocardiographs and 2D/3D imaging, under supervision of the Clinical Manager Non-Invasive Cardiology. BLS and echo-specific certification preferred.

Experience in echocardiography is preferred; registry to be obtained within one year of graduation. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certified Non-Invasive Echocardiogram Technologist preferred.
• Or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program which includes Echocardiogram or has had previous experience as an Echocardiogram Tech.
• Registry to be obtained within (1) one year of graduation of accredited ultrasound program.
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of all facets of echocardiography and typing.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiography procedures and report findings.
• Operate ultrasound equipment with attention to quality and safety.
• Record and document results according to department standards.
