Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking a Certified Medical Dosimetrist to perform treatment planning, brachytherapy planning, and QA duties. The role supports therapists during simulations, develops plans for conformal, IMRT and stereotactic treatments, and prepares customized treatment aids.

Hybrid work is available with up to three home office days, contingent on clinical coverage. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an approved dosimetry program and certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of dosimetry preferred.
• Certification expected within three years of employment.
• Equivalent education and experience with licensure as a radiation therapist or radiology technologist considered in lieu of formal dosimetrist training.

Responsabilités

• Assists therapists with patient simulations and immobilization under supervision to ensure accurate setup.
• Develops treatment plans for conformal, IMRT, stereotactic and forward planned patients.
• Performs brachytherapy planning for HDR procedures per physician guidelines.
• Maintains supplies and documents dose calculations and treatment records.
