Petco is seeking a certified dog trainer to advance our mission of improving pet health and happiness. You will conduct one-on-one sessions and group classes, provide guidance on nutrition and supplies, and engage guests with personalized, holistic solutions.

You will complete the required training programs, maintain detailed training records, and collaborate with grooming and veterinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• Passion for animal care and welfare.
• Excellent communication to instruct pet parents.
• Ability to work safely with dogs of all sizes.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with computer systems to track training.

Responsibilities

• Lead dog training sessions and group classes.
