Athens Health And Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager / Dietary Supervisor to lead the Dietary Department as part of our long-term care team. You will ensure compliant, nutritious meals and oversee staff to support resident recovery and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes coordination with leadership, menu planning, and maintaining high sanitation standards in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Certification by the Association of Nutrition and Food Service Professionals.
• Completion of a certified Dietary Manager Exam.
• 2+ years in foodservice management.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and directing daily Dietary Department operations.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local dietary and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment.
• Support menu planning and food preparation to meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Supervise dietary staff and assist with scheduling and workflow.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and meal service standards.
• Ensure proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve dietary services.
