Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Dietary Manager to plan, direct, and supervise the dietary department, providing nutritionally appropriate meals to residents while ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations. If you have a passion for seniors, a flexible, energetic personality, a high school diploma or equivalent, and certifications (CDM/CFPP/DTR) preferred, you may be the rockstar we want.

Prior supervisory experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDM/CFPP/DTR certification is preferred.
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC is required.
• Certification in food safety as required by state regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise the dietary department and staff.
• Provide nutritionally appropriate meals to residents safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and supervising functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will also safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. The Dietary Manager ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR) highly preferred
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
