Job summary

Charlton Place Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Dietary Manager to lead and supervise the dietary department, ensuring high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals for residents. You will direct staff, plan menus, and maintain compliance with applicable regulations.

The role requires a passion for senior care, flexibility, and strong communication skills, with preferred CDM/CFPP/DTR credentials and LTC supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDM/CFPP/DTR training preferred.
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC required.
• State regulations require food safety certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise dietary department functions and personnel.
• Provide nutritionally appropriate meals to residents.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and supervising functions and personnel within the dietary department. You will also safely and efficiently provide nutritionally appropriate food to residents for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their overall health. The Dietary Manager ensures the provision of quality food service and nutrition care in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Trained as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), or a Dietetic Technician, registered (DTR) highly preferred
• Prior dietary supervisory experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Certification in food safety, as required by state regulations
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
