Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. You will work directly with patients, performing dialysis-related tasks and basic care under RN supervision to ensure safe and effective treatment.

The role emphasizes attention to safety, quality, and adherence to protocols within an interdisciplinary team. A high school diploma and a genuine interest in healthcare are required; prior dialysis or CNA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
• Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
• Ability to safely mix and prepare chemical solutions following safety protocols.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment and monitor patient vital signs.
• Prepare machines, disinfect equipment, and perform safety checks with quality control logging.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team under supervision of a Charge Nurse and follow company policies and state/federal regulations.
