Job summary

The Brownsville Community Health Center seeks a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our clinical team. The role reports to Medical Support Services and requires ARDMS credentials and a 2-year degree, with 3+ years of experience in ultrasound.

You will perform high‑quality exams and document findings for physician review. Responsibilities include OB/GYN, abdomen, and breast imaging, maintaining equipment, complying with HIPAA, and supporting a patient-centered medical home model

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
• ARDMS OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, and Superficial Structures certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of sonography experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations including OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, and superficial structures.
• Produce and evaluate images and prepare reports for physicians.
• Maintain equipment, document studies, and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Communicate findings and coordinate with care team per PCMH approach.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines.
